WAI Outstanding Young Scientist Award (OYSA) is established to recognize a Young Scientist for outstanding achievements and potentials working in the technical area covered by WAI in an early period of their career either in academia or industry, age up to 38. The award comes with a plaque and a certificate.
                        To qualify applications for the OYSA, the applicant shall:
                        1. Be less than 38 (male) or 40 (female) years old on Nov. 1, 2025;
                        2. Have made outstanding achievements and/or demonstrate great potentials in the technical area covered by WAI;
                        3. Register and attend the WAI 2025.

A curriculum vitae with publication list must also be submitted if the award option is checked. Five to eight awardees will be selected by the WAI Outstanding Young Scientist Program Committee in 2025. The deadline for the OYSA application is November 2, 2025.

                Best Student Paper Award
Awards for the Best Student Paper will be presented to the winners at the conference. The author must be a full-time student who presents, as the first author, the paper at the conference. Students who wish to participate in this competition must pay for the registration fee and must present their work in person in the Best Student Paper Award competition.
