                            ABSTRACT
                                With the increasing demand for optical modules driven by 5G communication and
                                AI computing, the signal channel from DSP chip to optical devices will exceed
                                130Gbaud/s, requiring a 3dB bandwidth of over 70GHz. Accurately and quickly
                                estimating high-frequency losses in the channel poses a significant challenge.
                                The slides discuss a case study done on roughness variation after etching and its
                                influence to loss up to 90GHz.
